The Fone bar is SWEET. Probably one of the most comfortable bars on the market.
The QR though is average. Yes, it will work every time, and No, it will never open on you unintentionally, but it is comfortable to use only on one side.

I'd go for the B5.
Fone has been refining the Bandit for 5 years now and amazingly the kite gets better every year.
As always, if you get a chance to test the kites then do it, but if not then i recommend the B5.

Personally i love the Fone Bandit but there are many good kites out there.
Regarding a board though, there are only two boards i like:
Fone Trax.
Xenon LaLuz.

Harness, just go with what feels more comfortable.

I also went to El Gouna and had about 50% kiteable days.
Not sure if i would take all the family there.

Didn't like the 2011 at all.
The 2012 was O.K but still not in my top 5 list.
Hopefully for 2013 the rebel will be good not only for boosting air.

I wonder how long has that board taken the abuse...
If it lasts more than a season under the feet of the rider in the video then I'm getting one !
