Re: KFA Mk1 Reviews for learning?

Mast stiffness has been an issue - the mark 1's are too flexible. Other than that the wing profile is fine.

Re: Flysurfer Realeases the 2015 Peak2

Any updates to that last comment - has anyone tried the peak with a foil board yet ? I've just bought a 9m Peak 1 and am curious to play with it on a surfboard ..... I saw previous comments about needing to be powered up all the time, for short sessions it might be ok. I'm thinking the depower might...

Re: flysurfer speed 3 for foiling

My experience has been very positive - so much so that I decided to become a Flysurfer dealer. The Flysurfer Speed kites, whilst lower AR than the Sonic and R1 race machines, are much higher AR than any LEI currently available as as such, are well suited to the high angles and speeds we can reach on...

Re: Tandem - amazing board from Nobile

That would be kind of cool for parents with young kids, although I already have a large Flydoor that might work.

How does the passenger not get in the way of the harness and chicken loop ??

Re: Repair foil kite bridal with fishing line??

theoretically might work. This is the stuff you are trying to replace : http://www.liros.com/en/products/produc ... 9c7f6.html

if the breaking strain is up to it then could be a plausible temporary fix

Re: Bridle lines ???

FYI Flysurfer use "little connection lines" or LCL's to connect the bridle to the canopy. These are designed to fail to avoid ruining the canopy or bridle under extreme load. This protects the kite.

LCL's are simple to replace, which also makes bridle modifications and repairs simple.

Re: New - GoPro Hero4 Session - Waterproof!

That wired review is a good read. If my goal was to simply shoot short kiting clips for YouTube / Facebook, the Session would be more than sufficient wouldn't it ?

Re: Flysurfer Sonic: how to selfland in tight spot?

If it's really to sketchy to self land (by stalling down from 12) en you might be better of dropping the kite on the water, if that's an option. Wet is better than torn.

Re: How do you guys/girls downloop ?

Good vid Heimo - I can see how the carve first works in that instance keeping the lines tight. I'll give that a crack, although I wonder whether that'll leave me enough time to get an S415 turned in time. (I also grab a handful of steering line in LW as opposed to using the bar. )
