front and back line lengths

Postby mantismaster » Sun Jun 15, 2003 8:59 am

Hi, I just hooked my new slingshot bar and was flying a 10 m fuel. The wind was kind of light so I rigged the kite to turn the fastest. The kite was not filling with air so my friend suggested I lengthen the backlines and shorten the front lines. I did this using theknots and the kite filled immediately with air and parked much more easily than usual. I also hooked up the lines ath the kite in the middle knot. Is this the right thing to do, or should I keep the lines the same length and only adjust the lengths at the kite? Thank you! :bye:

Or, you could keep the lines and pigtails same length, and use a really long depower strap, like 10"
