Rhodos: procenter at hotel blue horizon?

I'm planning to go there with my family beginning of september.

We were on rhodos last summer, there was a greek kite school on the beach at Kremasti, but I think you're talking about Berndt and Johannes who run kiteschools and were based at the surf centre on kremasti beach last year, which is by the hotel and offered VDWS kitesurfing courses. This year they are at Fanes beach which is slightly south of the airport from last moth until the second week in september. They have a website at http://www.airtime.at & will probably be able to tell you what else is available in the area.

I mean the jürgen niens procenter in the north directely near the hotel blue horizont.

Kiting at Pro Center is definitely forbidden - a friend of mine tried to check in there and was finally forwarded to be center in the mail above !

interesting news - as they state on their website, that´s their first season to jump into kitesurfing lessons. When my friend booked his easter vacation this wasn´t yet possible and kiting restricted.

last info on this: kiting is 2.5 km north of surfbeach, so seemingly kitesurfrestriction at Blue Horizon beach still is in place - just contact the guys there and ask first hand !

Hi Andy and Jürgen;

I got now an answer from the Jürgen Niens procenter.
They told me their base for kite boarding is 3km in direction to the airport at Kremasti beach. Must be there where they other guys run their school last year (as Andy said).
Is there any good hotel for me and my family directly on the kitebeach? What about the noise due to the airport?

I'm heading to greece for kiting and fiance sunbathing too. probably naxos but you never know.

sorry, just know ProCenter from my windsurfing time, can´t tell you details about the other spot. My friend went down to Prasonisi mostly, but this one should be too crowded in summer season.
