Kitesurfsurvey of the University of Hamburg
Faculty of Sports Science
Institute for Sports and Exercise Medicine

The Institute for Sports and Exercise Medicine of the University of Hamburg analyses the frequency and pattern of injuries while kitesurfing under leasure and competition conditions.
In order to get representative data to evaluate the danger potential of kitesurfing, we have prepared a web based questionnaire. We would like to receive the filled-out forms of as many athletes as possible, covering all age and ability levels.
In this respect it is not important if there was an accident or an injury during kitesurfing so far.
You can find the questionaire at the following URL:

He guys
We all agree, Kitesurfing is an exciting and may be also a bit dangerous pleasure.
But I don't think accidents happen so frequently that we need 2 simultaneous studies performed. Everybody knows that the more participants are the more significant the results of a study like this is! Can't you guys work together on this? URL of the second ongoing study is http://www.kitesurfstudie.de
I am sure there will be another study:
http://www.kitesurfstudie.org !!!!!

As to my information they already work together.
The advantage of the university study is that theirs is global and in English and German.
So if you can read and write German, please join both, it is not much time you will spend for it.
I guess the results wil be very interesting.

Hi Marc! I would like to know, how many beginners were involved in accidents on their own and what kind of material they used?
Is it possible to give me some informations?
Windy greetings
Duna
