I am looking for opinions on the Cape Doctor Trixter 160 and 140. Especially in terms of build quality - can they keep up with the rest? I know from owning a few South African made boards (surfboards and kiteboard) that build quality is not always up to scratch!
I am 87kg and sail in 12-25 knots with AB 8.4 + 11.8.

Cheers

I used to use them when I was in SA.
Pretty well built. He does ride very well and continually develops the boards. They are made for Cape Town conditions, though.

Any comparisons with Underground or eboards? I ride in Perth, WA which probably has similar conditions to Cape Town without the waves (12-30 knots constant seabreezes).
Will be in SA in a months time and don't want to spend a fortune on a new board here in Oz! Are there any other good SA brands with a good reputation?

It is hard to tell, since I haven't ridden Anugus's shapes in a while. But he is a really nice guy and I am sure he will let you test his boards if he is not sold out
