Wait for North Rhino 4, ask testdrive, ...
After ram air this will be paradise.

it's gonna be hard to find a kite more stable than the warrior 9.3, you must have it setup wrong or something to think it isn't stable

I had a warrior 9.3 and liked it until I got a 2003 caution 12m on demo, I never ever rode the warrior again.

the Caution was as stable but was much more instinctive to fly and the lift was a lot bigger, so far durability has not been an issue after over six months of use.

Sorry mate, I'm not going to get into a PMU style debate, but this is just plain misinformation, ANY LEI from 2002 onwards (with very few exceptions) is more stable than any FS kite (and I include the Titan here!) - I speak from experience, thats why I any many of my buddies (Including SQ) changed to LEI kites.

It'll come....it just takes some folk longer than others to realise... :thumb:

Its only a guess but, if you weigh in at around 187 lbs. you could use a good(Liquid Force Tension) 20m in 9 to 18 mph. or a good (North Toro) 18m in 14 to 20 mph. The same kite in 14ms is very good in 18 to 23 mph. In wind above that I use an Airush Lift 7.4. I have had it out in 35+.

Moved from a fs warrior to 2003 Slingshot Fuels, my riding has improved so much as a result of making the switch, I found the stability and ease of flying just gave me much more confidence.

Everyone seems to recommend what they own , which seems to indicate that there aren't many bad kites out there. You could do a lot worse than checking out 2003 SS Fuels, they're very well made, durable and I'd imagine there's a few good deals on 2003 kites knocking about at the moment with the 2004 gear coming out this month.

gotta say it was fuels over titans for me, ease of use in the air, feedback and stability and level of required checking for jumps.

the 2002 lei offerings weren't all that, bad durability and hindenberg and jellyfishing, but from the number i tried o3 they were all good.

admittedly flying leis' isn't the same 'flying' as foils, not better but different, depending on what you want. i wanted a kite i could forget about in the air and the 2003 fuels gave me that, the durability is just a bonus.
