Alright - after weeks and weeks of trying to figure out where to go this summer, I decided on Greece for 18 days. Will be great to return, spent many summers windsurfing down there. Shit come to think of it, I learned how to kiteboard in Mykonos (Ftelia), summer 1998...on my own. What an experience that was.
So: anyone gonna be around in either Paros or Rhodos during those periods?
I'm gonna fly into Mykonos on 22/07, pick up car, maybe hang out there for a day (can't really kiteboard, no adequate beaches), then off to Paros Pounda. Remain on Paros until 29/07.
29/07 ferry over to Rhodos, and remain until 08/08. Not sure whether to stay in north (better nightlife) or south (Prassonissi, better beach). We'll see.
Might even hop over to Naxos, if there's a direct ferry from Paros (dont feel like spending a whole day to travel though).
Can't wait!
Let me know if anyone is around - Steve

I would recommend going to Naxos, Mikri Vigla, the spot is great. Also, evenings in Naxos are nice. It's close to Paros so you don't need to spend time on the boat. I won't be there this summer but I'm sure you'll be surprised to see how many kites there are there now! Have fun and good kite!
