I guess that the trick is an F-16 only if the kite goes below the rider or at the same level. So Edosan, you were on your way, maybe just a little too low.
Hesitation is our worst enemy when doing kiteloops. One trick that works, but it takes lots of guts, is to grab the bar at the same side with both hands

Of course ...I was trying an F-18...can you see?
