Inflation Pressure?

Postby Avery » Sat Nov 26, 2005 12:03 am

Can anyone tell me the proper inflation pressure (PSI) for the LE and struts on 04 CO2 (10m & 14m) and 05 Contra 19.5.
Thank you.

Approx 4 - 5 PSI on the struts and approx 5-6 PSI on the leading edge, If there is any damage on your leading edge, including repairs, be careful and check that area as the kite is inflating.

Thats a rough guide for all kites, some people prefer their struts to be harder than what I have quoted, but in my experience it is better to have the LE a bit harder.

if you drop ur kite inthe water alot, go 7psi, so the cold temp won't drop the pressure too much.
Then again, if u drop it alot you'll blow it up more likely with higher psi...

Compromise
