Go on Windrider .. I'll let you take Europe ;)
Well, thank you. I'll take the local-route, and let someone in Europe, Brasil or New Zealand cover their own...

Howz about ....

7 Tempest - Hawaii
9 Tempest - Hawaii
11 Tempest - Hawaii
13 Tempest - Hawaii
15 Tempest - Hawaii
17 Tempest - Hawaii

Hmmm.... time for some philosophical introspection..... am I being "greedy", "resourceful" , "opportunistic", "unfair" or "creative" in taking a shotgun approach.... hmmmm..... Guess the answer is simply "Yes".

:) ... Well, maybe most of the above but hey.it's a level playing field. The contest has been running for 11 days so anyone who wants to make a guess or ten has had more than enough opportunity to do so and most people seem to think multiple guesses are OK. So "Unfair"? - I don't think so.

Another bit of analysis to help (or confuse :) anyone else wanting to get into the shotgun game at this late stage. On page 3 gumball said : "So far only jrobson has one part right"
jrobson's guess was :
62kites per day: 10m Nemisis, Australia
1) We know it wasn't the 10m Nemisis (ruled out by GB's later assertion)
2) On this page:http://www.kitemare.com/best%20kites.htm (at some time in the past ) Alex stated "Best manufactures 2,500-4,500 kites per month depending on seasonality"
At a minimun that that averages to 83 kites per day and maximum 150 - so unless Alex was BS-ing in that article, or sales have dropped since it written, or Best manufacture far more kites than they ship, 62 per day is way under. (and it was already bracketted by guesses of 55 and 69)
3) Conclusion : Australia must be the correct shipping location. :)

Well I've run out of 2004 Best kites to guess so have at it - and have fun :)

tinman got the kite right...

Guess as many times as you want, but one kite and one location per guess and two other entries between your multiple guesses... i.e. two other people have to guess after you submit a guess before you can submit another guess.

Interesting..... if Tinman got the kite right, and I started the listings of the Tempest as the kite series, then that means that Tinman's correct guess on the kite was his "5m Grunt" guess, but that his Australia guess was wrong.

New Guess:

5m Grunt
Hawaii
