Survey - What do you do for a living?

Postby llotti » Sun Jun 22, 2008 6:36 am

I am jealous that I see the usual suspects out kiting before the workday is over.

If you are the ones out kiting at 2pm or anytime you want...what is it that you do for a living?

Working nights? Long shifts? Are you independently wealthy? Retired? Are you selling meth on the side in those campers? :cool2:

I happens that I live 30 min drive from Tarifa , self employed , love water sports and ( not always ) I arrange my weekly working schedule based on the wind forecast so I can kite an average of 2 sessions per week .

Yeah I know .... life is shit :cool2:

Saludos

I kite after work and weekends, so...
3.30 is my time to find wind. Usually I get screwed.
oh, and I build homes , aka.: construction.

System developer. Developing/maintaining software for receiving and processing credit card transactions (Mastercard, visa...etc). Usually working 08:00 until 15:30 during summer, and 16:00 the rest of the year, must be at work between 09:00-15:00 usually, but work is organized so that no problem leaving early or coming late some days. Work a few hours extra the day before/after, leave early when it is windy and work from home a few hours in the evening etc.

I design and build camera stabilization units for holltwood movies. It's called Glidecam industries. The owner understands that I get distracted if the wind is blowing and I start making mistakes so he lets me take off when the wind is up. I love it.
