Not really:

"It looks like that after F-one and North, RRD is also using the delta-shape"
Interesting detached/unsewned wingtip - Anti Vortex effect or pure marketing detail ?

As soon as the "wired LE shape" hype dont sell enough kites I think that designing kites goes back to prioritising on perfomance/specs first. Rather then unique looks first first. My personal beliefe is that if it did ad anything else then an easy sales pitch it would have been copied by now.
Dont missread me, Im sure the kites are great. I just dont think its the LE shape that does it.

Yesterday I was able to try the 12m Cult and did not like it. For me it was a slow kite, no hang time and no boost to jump. It is more a cruising kite. I use it for 30 min.

My first kite was an torch II 12m. Very powerfull kite, but now I have changed to a helix 12m.
For my level i think helix is much more better than torch. Landing on jumps is very smoth, jump high, relaunch is perfect, waveriding unhooked is very good to. The only thing i don´t like very much is the bar, in back or frontloops the power lines stays rolled...
With my helix i can ride from 13 to 25-27 knots
Now i want to buy a smaller helix for 25+ knots, but i´m not sure if i go to 9 or 7m helix. Can anybody help me on that?

hmm im pretty sure the fuels are not going that direction
+ "the shape of things to come" is like their slogan, i dont think its an actual statement from the media. maybe they used it for advertising purposes but im sure its not a statement

I think the shape has advantages but not significant enough for everyone else to do the switch. Anyways its just marketing blurb, it cannot be taken literally.
