way more about the riders abilities, wind strength, their board and the water conditions than about the kite IMO
So true - you'll get just as many opinions and kites listed, as there are riders !
Some are pimping, others are not.
But you'll never ever get any usefull answer on this topic, thats for sure
Just facts, sorry to say...

I disagree.
While it's true that rider's ability, wind strength, board, and water conditions are factors
in jumps, the design of the kite has a huge part in how fast
you get ripped off the water, how high you jump, and how much 'float time' you have.
Yes, you are right.
BUT, every single rider has his/hers own illusion of what the best jumper is
Even those who has tried a lot of different kites, has their "personal" preferences.
Of course flat kites has more hang time than C, and C and Flat kites usually jumps approx the same max height, if they turn fast without losing power, and C kites jumps with more acceleration (kick in the butt) usually.
Apart from that, I can tell you 100% for sure, you wont get any usable answer regarding which kite jumps the highest (which is his question only - not hangtime....) in here.
Simply because there are so many kites with the same excellent performances today (which is a good thing
)
Also - flat small kites seem to have a height advantage over small C kites, whereas big C kites seem to have an advantage over big flat kites, when we only talk about jumping height (is my experience).
So the kitesize in question is just as important - also regarding individual brands...
And then we could just go on and on and on
But he asks specifically about big kites, so that narrows it down somewhat
