Looks to me you already have kite skills. So I think you should be able to self teach. Take care of the safety aspect though. Really.

Of course if you could take lessons that is better. Or go with someone who has experience.

The troll that is Ittiandro has restarted three threads from 2012 and earlier years. This one was from 2008. There does not appear to be a pattern in questioning other than the age of the thread.
