Is the Kailua the only good place to kite in the whole island???
Is there anything closer to Wiki Beach?

Kailua is NOT the only place on the island...it is the most popular. Mokuleia is probably the other most commonly kited location. It is up on the north shore just west of Haleiwa.
Kiting near Waikiki is available during Kona winds. This web site will help you see why kiting near Waikiki is just not an option most of the time.

We have another spot near waikiki, but it only works on E winds. Or NE, but any more N, it's too gusty and offshore . Also, very shallow. But it's my local spot. It's near the Waialai Golf Course.
All the info I can give you.

Can you still kite goat island, from inside the park, not that road side spot?

goat island is not recommended unless you want your car broken into.
