What type of SD card brand and capacity did you find for this and what setting are you taking most your videos with. i have a 16gb sd class4 from optima and the video is really jerky except for the R1 setting. I think its the sd card not being fast enough to keep up with the recording info. ?>

There is a discussion on there about what cards work.
The best card is a Kingston. (The one they sell on gopro's site). I have a 16gb and use the r4 setting. Every setting works fine for me with my card and my battery runs out before i fill up the card.

I use the kingston 32GB - its also recommended by go pro. It works fine and is quiet fast.

I use the 16:9 with 60 fps - it`s r3 - programm - it also works the best for me.

:( Unfortunately my gopro hd is faulty i think. It very often wont turn on, even though battery is full charged. I have to remove the battery for several minutes, replace, then it will turn on, and I can shoot video. But if i turn it back off, it is again unresponsive and won't turn on, even when plugged into usb. Pretty frustrating but I'm in contact with gopro support and assume they will exchange this one.
