Hi, all prefessional Kite riders:
We are as mold maker in CHINA and under the direction to build up another new bar end for its markets to innovate kite boarding sports.
So far, we finish the design and cut out a sample pieces like pictures in attached. As you know the plastic injection mold is not cheap at all. And we'd like to hear from your comment or advise before we invest this new molds.
Any of your comments will be much appreciated.
Enjoy the Riding every day...
Sincerely,
-

i don't think it is any good.
first off it is too angled out from the bar. not good for handle passes. if you barely get the bar and slide up it, your hand will be inclined to go right off the end. a more square end is better.
secondly, it looks like you're going for an "adjustable" bar end. the top tube you put your leader lines through seems sharp, and is a really bad wear point.
can't have lines snapping mid flight.
also it's made in china.

How long have you worked on this new bar?
Can you find two differences between your bar and this:

Come on give this guy a break.
He's looking for constructive criticism, not cheap comments, especially the ''made in China'' part

as someone with 8 years on the water and now building my own CL releases because manufacturers fail to meet my basic needs I feel I can throw out a few constructive criticisms.
first, get rid of the outer most pointy end by the bar, you could put your eye out with that thing. Ive gotten cut from shitty bar ends and that one looks dangerous.
two; bungee is sloppy, you already have a natural hook made by the bar end, drill a hole at the damn pointing thing I told you to cut off and get rid of the clumsy looking slot and overbuild you put together for the line bungee.
the whole end should be smooth and clean, your's looks way too complicated, take a look at how clean and simple North/ Royals is. Once you ditch the silly bungee thing you can reduce size and integrate the hole for the lines into the lower portion and lose the top tube.
keep it clean!!!
and im with PD, dont angle it. totally unneccessary, no one needs a 55cm bar let alone a 55cm bar that gives even wider hand placement. straight is good.
