The anti-fog (desicant) inserts work fine, but I keep forgetting to cut them up and put them in. Instead, I cut a little panel out of chamois cloth that fits into the back door - so far so good. And I can dry it out and reuse it easy.

Yes but only to 0.5m. And no line mount ;)

The GoPro anti fog strips don't work for shit!!!

I've tried wrapping the battery in foil, 3 strips, climate control, everything..........that f'in thing fogs on me constantly.

My Sanyo waterproof camera NEVER fogged. I'm really pissed about this. :angryfire:
It ruined 90% of my Hatteras vacation footage from the fall.

Poacher, I feel your pain!

yes, we had a topic, but I don't recall the paper idea...sounds good, will try that!
I bought those straps, but didn't really work...still fogged.

but next time will do with the fridge and paper!

How do you mount the Drift cam to a board or helmet?

Yeah I don't want to throw GoPro under the bus, but the fogging thing has to be rectified. I've actually sent mine back to GP to be fixed/replaced. Mine was randomly shutting off and not recording at all sometimes. Hopefully the new one works better and doesn't fog..........cuz I just ordered the LCD backpack thing too. I NEED this thing to work...

If you put a piece of 'aluminium paper' around middle back of your gopro.
The foog remain in aluminium paper... simple, silly & economic ....
but works perfectly !!!

What is aluminum paper? You mean a gum wrapper? (foil on one side, paper on the other)

I have never had a fogging issue, but perhaps I'm not using it in a high humidity air environment like Toby has in Brazil (I'm guessing). I know with all cameras you can't bring a cold one into a hot environment and expect it to be fog free, though.

Up the mountain skiing on Sunday, after the first of the runs, noticed a blob of fogging in the lens ... opened the case, it disappeared and was fine for the rest of the day. I've got my chamois door panel though :) and I had just taken it out of my pocket after I'd stomped up the hill from the carpark ...
