kite bar adjustment 4 short arms

So I have been thinking about this for while.
The posture is one of the reasons which determinate how well we do kiteobarding. How coordinate are we on board, how smooth are tricks etc.

The way how we have adjusted bar influence our posture.
I really like to improve the way I stand and how I feel on board. I notice that I would prefer to have shorter throw on depower (my kite is 11 ozone edge).
The challenge is that many times when I ride I set bar the best as it feels but when I lean back sometimes I have to much power, then when I depower (shorten front lines) kite loses power.

What I try to say that I like to get this results.
Set up bar length / throw in the way that I can lean back and have great power in kite, thus edge, feel comfortable.
And the only way I can imagine to do so is to cut chicken loop rope, shorten it and see how that works.
Also Ozone has no stopper ball so if anyone of you has idea how to use modify bar for one that would be helpful.

Thanks for help guys.

GK Bars have adjustable throw and multiple adjustments for the back lines. :thumb:
Should be standard on all kite control bars.

i am small so i have short arms ....it was my main problem with peter lynn kites as they ride pretty depowered....had to be bend in half....

solutions:
- seat harness: lower the hook point by some good cm.
-add some rear lines (10/15cm?)
- add a knot on the front lines on the kite to shorten it, similar to use the depower strap tho.

i ended up with 15cm added at the rear lines, the bar is closer to me, i can stand straight.

What's the standard length of most bar throw? I just made my own bar, and set the throw at 14 inches. How long do you want it? Here's my bar.

The only answer for a bar for an SLE or Bow kite, both of which have fairly long "throws" (bar travel)...is to get rid of the 8 inches that the chicken loop takes up. So, you will have to get rid of the chicken loop... you could do this:

Am I missing something, or are the adjustments on the GK and Switch bars basically the same as on all other bars? It allows you to increase the bar throw but at the expense of shortening the depower throw. My North bar does that and the Cabrinha bar I used to use did it too. What it doesn't do is allow the bar to be closer to the rider at the same power setting. That requires a change in line length, which can be done with depower but that might not correspond with wind strength. I think the only answer is to shorten the outside lines a bit. Am I wrong?

The entire GK depower strap is on a loop between CL and the mouse ears. By moving the loop one way or another, you will shorten or lengthen the distance of the strap. It can be adjusted on the fly (while riding).

Here's a pic of the depower line itself, maybe it will show you more:

Will try to dig up a video for ya.
