North Entity vs Nobile Footstraps?

Need your help again folks.

Need new straps. Want to feel real connected with by board, (but can't go bindings), narrowed it down to these two. Got a size 9 foot, chicken skinny ankles wider at front almost a flat foot condition. Football in the early days has taken its toll, so I need some support even in the arches if I can. Bloody Achilles keeps going on me.

Hear good things about both, and the adjustment potential on the entities is a plus.

But people who use the nobiles rave about them.

What's your experience. ?

I have a nobile 50 2012, great board in many conditions.

The nobile foot pads and straps are much improved from just a couple of years ago, quite adjustable too. But I I couldn't get my foot to be nice and snug as my 2010 north strap/pad combo, plus I found the grip to be more comfortable on the north. In the end I put my 2010 north pads on my 50 which works better for me.

I have not tried the new north Entity, but they look to have many adjustments.

Have you taken a look at the Slingshot Joint? these are more like a shoe and give excellent control.

They give you the connected feel of a boot but the get out of jail card of a binding (i.e they are fairly easy to kick off when you get something wrong)

This stops the dreaded problem of being almost pulled in half when you are wear boots. You know when you land wrong the board ends up behind you and the kite in front.

Anyway I really like them.

After trying a pair of entity straps on a North demo board. I fell in love with them. I bought a pair right away. I am currently using them on my Carved board and I love them! I cannot see how they could possibly be improved. The only other pair of straps I liked too were the Naish straps. If you look closely they are very very similar to the North straps.

Will Entity pads straps work on a NON-North board without their track system?

Work on a board with 6" width inserts?

Probably they`ll do but I`m not 100% certain as I don`t remember the exact measurements - sorry.
BUT have in mind that it will be impossible to use all the stance options and this is even with older North boards w/ inserts.
This is because the Ntity`s channels are not parallel which causes limited duck stance or less options in general. Also for closer to the rail fix w/o the track system or similar

According to me they are great looking piece of kit and very unconfortable at the same time esp.with booties.Again, thats me...

Hi WestOzzy, same experience here as WildDuke, I have the Fifty50 12 with the Nobile pads and having had a chance to ride the NTTs for a couple of hours I can say these are far superior pads. I went through a break in period with my Nobile's where I got a blister from the rubbing until it calloused and that is not acceptable. I've been meaning to replace them with the NTTs but they are expensive and haven't done it yet. From the reference link it looks like they are adjustable every which way, especially with the double straps.. hope that helps.

There's a video on adjustabilities.
I guess you`re reffering my post ...pls., correct me if I`m wrong.
All boards shown on that video are with track system .I am describing what happens /taken from experience/ when dealing with Entity pads and inserts i.e boards without track system.
