Anyone know of some wetsuit/neoprene "pants"

I was wondering if any companies made just neoprene pants? It'd be nice to just quickly put them on in questionable weather... Kind of like Neoprene shirts with long sleeves... Without question every single wetsuit I have tried takes too long to put on... Where I live I go from shorty weather to drysuit weather in about 2 weeks...

I am in the exact same situation as you when it is summer - I just HATE suits that are not "easy and fast" to put on/off.

But I dont get why you want pants ???

If you got pants, you also need either a lycra or a 1mm shirt on top.

Then the advantage dissapears totally... :o

For me, in summer, it is, with decreasing air/water temperature:

Shorts only, when hot.

Shorts and a lycra shirt as a rashguard.

Shorts and a 1mm neoprene shirt when not as hot.

Summer shorty (short legs short arms)

Summer suit (2/2 or 3/2 long legs short arms)

Full suit (3/2 long legs long arms)

Full winter suit (5/4/3)

Drysuit.

My point is, having neoprene pants and a top, takes longer than putting on a summer shorty

And pants only, makes no sense at all (for me...) :-? :

Or do you need those for a very specific purpose maybe ?

I actually GOT a pair of neoprene shorts and have used them earlier, but never use them anymore, as it does not make much sense, is my experience after many years.

:D Peter

REALLY hairy chest? ;)

I find my seat harness doesn't ride up so bad when I have a wetsuit on... short johns tend to flap around my armpits and get distracting so I'd like just shorts too...

If you go from shorty weather to drysuit weather in two weeks, then it's drysuit weather after two sessions in neoprene pants
....why buy pants for two sessions a year?
I would think the lakes you are kiting in are only warm enough for boardies in June, July and August?....maybe May or September on warm years.
Wetsuit weather (shorty or long depending on your cold tolerance) April, May and September, October?
Drysuit weather November, December, January, February, March......if you are willing to brave that weather and the chunks of ice are not too big?
It's not clear from what you said...do you own a shorty wetsuit now? ...Does that take too long to put on?
My long sleeved / long legged wetsuit takes two minutes to put on standing in a parking lot next to my truck.....what is causing you trouble putting a wetsuit on?

I've used paddling pants in NY. It's brutal here with Green Flies in the summer.
