From OR Forum looks the 2013 Razor is a 2012 with white wingtips. Anybody who has flown them both have any other thoughts? Thanks

It is very similar to the 2012, OR doesnt want to uproot something that was a great success believe the kite has just been tuned up a little bit in shape (leading edge specifically, but i think canopy as well) so that it handles a little better in gusts and unhooked. Otherwise, if it aint broke...

Still waiting to trymy new 7m 2013 but I have a similar understanding to MZ. No real major changes and essentially the same kite. It's good, was popular for them so no real major changes needed.

There are some good deals on 2012 Razors out there if you want to get a new kite and save some $$... :jump:

Update on my observations of the new 2013 bars, they made the trim line about 8 inches longer than last years.

Also an improvement, instead of heat shrink hard plastic covering the trim line pulley, its been replaced by stretchy neoprene, so you can move it out of the way making it easier to replace the trim line.

I just got my 2013 Razor 12m with the FreeRide bar. Haven't had a chance to fly it yet 'cuz the wind-on/work-off combo hasn't happened yet. Hopefully next week. Major excitement in the air. Red white and black. Good things on the horizon.

So far, nothing but good things to say about the 2013 Razor 12m. Excellent wind range. Flies smooth. Responsive. Going to try the different connection points to see the difference. Super kite so far. Good job OR!
