Fantastic kites that have served me well for over 3 years. I use them with both a twintip and a surfboard. They are built to last and i have not had to replace parts but i do have spare bridles for my 3 sizes. Keep the back lines tight and they are good in gusts.

When they do fall apart they will be replaced with new Wainmans.

The whole rabbit gang and graphics are a joke though. Give me a black or white plain kite with a big wainman logo in the centre - less is more.

Okay...Okay Flight Time. You have a point.

I had never been to WH's website until after I demo'd and purchased my "bunnies"...(that was hard to write).

My Wainman Hawaii purchases were based on test-drives.

Kinda like the last 13 cars I've purchased...not based on websites or commercials.

Yeah, shouldn't take me much more than 5 minutes to dust you.

Dust me? Hmmm watching too many Cowboy movies and feeling all brave? Come on over and you can have a spin on my Wainmans so you will then know what you are talking about, after which I'll kick seven colours of shite out of ya just for shits and giggles!

I'll try your kites, but bring a lunch if you intend to kick my ass. God, I love you Irishmen, such firey tempers! Best guy to have your back in a barfight, though! :thumb:

Actually, let's do it like this. I go over there, I try your kites and rail against the color schemes, you try my kites, then we can fight a while, then we go out drinking!

While I don't condone the invitation for violence (albeit very amusing fellas - maybe skip the fight, just fly the kites then drink hey!),

I spent a week on a Wainmen Smoke ) not the rabbit, but similar I presume.

My conclusion in the end was it does okay in the boost, okay in the freestyle, but is a very very good wave kite. It's bottom and top end is something else. As I'm all about boosting and freeriding, with the need for speed via apparent wind (hence I like a higher aspect kite) with some powered wave action chucked in, it wasn't for me...

For me the wainmen is ideal for those who like a bit of everything but are more geared towards the surfing part of the spectrum. There a much better boosting kites and much better freestyle kites out there, but in the surf it is right up there. To me it is an allrounder that is geared towards the surfing side. It also does hold its own in the freestyle department, more so than it's boosting. It can boost don't get me wrong, but lacks hangtime and float.

In my opinion obvioulsy so please no invitations for an international flight to fight.

I liked the kite so much I got my brother to buy one and he is stoked! The relaunch and stability of this baby is second to none.

I also agree with flight time, the marketing is really stupid.

Oh yeh the new carrot bar is one of the best I've used.
