This is how PKRA / KPWT should look like

It's a short video clip from 9 years ago.
The combination between old and new school is sooooooo beautiful.

BTW - Eli is also a prodigy in waves in Windsurf and in SUP :!:

That's from 2004 ?! :o
That guy is really talented.

And yes, a combination of oldschool and newschool looks way better.

Amazing stuff he did back then! Very nice!

I agree, this is how freestyle should look like!!! A mixture of high, flying tricks, low technical, hooked, unhooked, transitions, slides, etc. Just show all there is!

This is what in my opinion would be the best to have:

Freestyle: a mix of all styles
Wakestyle: like Triple S, all about unhooked passes, kickers, sliders
Airstyle: strictly hooked ;-)
Wave
Race
Speed

The sport is so versatile, we should have all ! Besides Speed, a tour for all disciplines is needed. Not together, all separate, otherwise we know what happens.

On the right hand side of that link there are a few more nice videos.

It would be great to have a competition of the "Best of the best". an all round all discipline event that will determine who is the best kiteboarder out there.
Best kiteboarder means the best in a combination of different styles. Something like the Decathlon.

Agreed entirely, that is one almighty all round kiter. Something to aspire to hey! So fluid as well. And uses all the dimensions of kiting, although be even better if he was doing that in some waves!! Made my night cheers man! Can't stand how the comps have been hijacked by that bloody emphasis on wake style stuff. Yes highly technical, but that's it as far as I'm concerned.

Although as per another thread, apparently jumping a strapless surfboard is far more evolved the this. Ba ha ha ha ha

having a comp to find the best allround rider is also something nice!

I would prefer a comp of teams...where a rider for each disciplines starts for their team.
Then you will get the best of all into one event. Can't beat that action!

Westozzy go to http://www.kitemaster.co.il and on the right hand side there is a list of videos.
I can't understand Hebrew but most of the 2010 videos are Wave riding.

Well I won't be watching the 2010 videos then. If I want to watch surfing I will put crank up some Kelly slater footage! He's a damn freak of nature man.

Lou wainmen in his day was also a great all rounder.

Yeh Toby the team idea would be awesome, add real interest, like the gymnastics thingy.

So I take it you will be doing the wave riding section of the team...ba ha ha ha ha
