Worth having a look at Kristin Boese DVD called Kitesurfing. She's many times world champion. Explanations are brief but clear, she follows you through the basic steps, from poppin' to jumping, from hooked in rotation and loops to unhooking and eventually the first handle passes.

No doubt Progression is a great guide, especially for more advances tricks. Kristin as well might do a pretty good job driving you into the next level.

Go kite at a different beach.
pompano Beach has many talented kiters. You will learn a lot by kiting with them

This is kind of off topic but... Can you do all the unhooked tricks on a strapped surfboard that you do on a TT?? Other than the tricks you land switch stance of course. For example, I only ride directionals but was trying to work S-bends because they looks AWESOME. Just curious...
