Thanks to everyone with advice on PR. This sight needs a good PR thread.

I'm thinking about going to the island in February, mostly to visit MHL and research the likelyhood of purchasing a hyrofoil for the Midwestern US Lakes. But I'm starting to get concerned about the gusty and choppy conditions we have here. ???

Can someone tell me if it would be worth pushing a PR trip up a week or two just to witness some Carnival entertainment? And if so, would this require a trip to Ponce, or not? And if so, is there any decent kiteboarding down that way?

Thanks for all your help!

If you're going to visit MHL, the MHL factory is at walking distance from Shacks beach.

There is also other kite spot near by.

The BQN airport (Aguadilla Airport) is at 15 minutes drive from MHL factory.
I know that they receive daily direct flights from Orlando Airport, La Guardia Aiport and Ft Lauderdale Airport. May be there are also other direct flights from other airports to BQN.
