What a Friken Nightmare !!

Postby Bille » Wed Jan 16, 2013 5:21 pm

*

Last night i had one of those dreams that seamed real with the
colors and smell. I dreamet i moved Back to the San Diego aria ;
up around Carlsbad, where i use to live in the 90's.

Day after day, i could see the wind-lines come in to about a 1/4 mil
off shore, then go away. A few times i actually pumped up my kite, only
to watch the wind die the moment i got the lines ran-out & attached.

This went on for Months ; occasionally i got to ride in a 12-14,but had
to swim back to shore through the kelp-bed because the wind went away.

I woke up this morning ,"distraught" , and went straight to my computer to see if Mohave
had wind.
HA -- i smiled when i looked at the 3-day for my lake this week , it
was all a Bad dream and Mohave had good wind all week !!!

Sorry ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------(NOT) !!
"now if i could just get use to that blistering cold 40deg, i'd be OK " ; so it's
off to the Jean-dry lake with my buggy for the day ; I Hate Cold, i must be
getting Old. :(

lol, that is the norm for one of the spots here. You can see the wind, but have little access. Swimming out is hard due to the reef and waves crashing on it. Other times it is decent though.
