Have you seen any sharks so far rick? They must have timed their migration this year when there hasn't been any wind, because I've only really seen 2 or 3 I think in the last month or two (ever since the whale shark showed up)

I haven't seen any blacktips but some other solitary shark species and then on dives. Haven't seen any jumping or spinning sharks during kite sessions either. No question the migration is on but there will be those gaps in the mass of sharks as they move north. Have to say in most years I haven't really noticed them until around March myself.

yea reading these stories the bright sight of kiting in cold waters can bee seen...
More freezing but at least no shark problems.

hah, I was just thinking the same thing.
It might be cold here but at least the only thing that can kill me on the water is myself!
