Sounds like a fake info. That would leave SS with no well recognized international riders, well maybe except their new team rider - Sam Light.
Len10 became a kind of a Sling and Mystic trademark, imho they would overbid anyone else just to keep him inside. Heck, If someone said Slingshot I would answer Karolina Winkowska
, ok ok ....Lenten (well, maybe my answer would be fuel...) and only later I would think of Youri.
I have no secret insider info, just simple logic. But on the other hand who knows... Youri, Lewis leaving SS, Sam leaving Naish, a lot of rush in the market

If he is still with SS they should put him out there more.
Likely just a case of Redbull>>Slingshot as far as branding imo.
Lenten seems to be pretty prominent, presented the 2012 megaloop challenge somewhat paving the way for return of king of the air, on the marquee for that one too, not starving.
Hope all is well for all both parties, like to hope they keep going.
In any case with Redbull and Mystic he should be ok.
Hope all is well at SS too!
Maybe just running out of room for logos? You can still tell its a fuel, for sure!

no way lenten leaves sling. because there is really no replacement for the fuel.

I guess for Ruben the most important is the kite. Without the right kite, he cannot perform right, specially with his megaloops...he need 110% confidence in the kite, lines etc.
If someone would offer me money to ride a kite without hangtime, I would not accept, since my riding would suffer.

They might not pay him much, but keeping his quiver full is a cheap way to ride redbull's coattails until/unless he finds a kite he likes better than the fuel.
Fuel is a mighty fine kite.
