wakestyle or regular kiteboard?

You will need three boards. One with boots, one with straps andone skim board.
Boots for perfetly powered days,
Straps for high wind days when the kites too damn twitchy
And the skim for light winds

Fins, go less than 1inch alll around, .5 for boots depends on board
S bottom.

Upwind in boots is all about technique, evefything changes in boots, your carve your pop, your release, your upwind technique. Practiice is the name of the game not sacrifice.

If the idea of three boards scares your wallett, by last years boards and boots. It would be no problem to get all three for under a ggrand
