iam very happy with my blade fat lady v2.
kite is amazing and working 100% for my riding style and wind conditions at my local spots.
The most impressive things for me riding the Fat is the unhooked performance for sure, the huge wind range and the turning speed.
with my amazing Aboards Glide board i can ride with extremely light wind conditions

All light wind kites from different kite brands from 2012 until today needs a respect , iam pretty sure all kites are good and doing the job that are made for.The thing is which kite are you feel comfortable on.
For ex. ss turbine have a slower turning speed than the Fat lady but if you like the''park and ride'' style or you are a freerider the is works ok for you, if you are more aggressive rider go for the fat lady for sure

We have LOTS of light wind days = 10kts and under.
I have a 2012 Turbine that i love except for below the bar depower. I use a seat harness and when therebis any pull on the kite it is almost impossible to pull it in, plus i seem to knock it out somehow at times.

I'm amazed at the no love for the below bar depower on the Slingshot Comp Stick. Depower the kite as you pull the rope straight down out of the cleat. Re-cleat at the desired setting. I first used this on Ocean Rodeo kites and always though it was pretty easy. I have had more issues with the various above bar systems. The most basic system I've used for depowering your kite was the edge of your board, this of course was in the 2 line era...lol

The Turbine I flew was a V1....maybe the V2 and later, are better.
I used Ocean Rodeo bars for 4-5 years and like them a lot, super reliable.
I still use a Frankenstein Bar that has an Ocean Rodeo below the bar chicken loop/depower system on my 17M kite.
I have a big 23" Slingshot bar still, that can also be used with my 17M.
Normally below bar depower is no big deal for me, but it was pretty tough with the Turbine.
I prefer above the bar systems these days, but I've got a mixed group of bars at this point.

I have my Fat lady V2 on order as the importer sold out of his first batch before the season even started!. Seriously missing the V1 at the moment as Sods law dictates that you will get perfect conditions for the kite you are missing.

+1 for the below the bar depower. I use a 23 inch Compstick on my Infinity and really like it. I will admit that there was a learning curve for me figuring out where to have the kite and bar to make pulling in some line easier, but after that, no problem. I would think that this bar would work great on a FL if below the bar is your preference.

I fly my FL with the 2013 LF 55cm bar - I think it is the best of all below-the-bar-depower bars currently on the market.

This is what I like:
1. Single line flagging system option
2. Soft ends with integrated floats, lines dont't catch between the bar end and the float, if the bar whacks you in the head it is super soft
3. Super light - it is at least half the weight of the SS compstick, lighter than naish too
4. Working swivel with ceramic bearing, it does work!
5. Nice quick release
6. Nice soft grip with a ridge on one side that tells you if you are holding it right
7. Depower rope cleat works nice and smooth

Things I don't like:
1. Quick release leaves the CL on your hook, if the dick is not in or if you have not fed the secondary leash through it, it may fall out and even though it floats you will likely lose it.
2. Not adjustable width

Used to fly with Naish bars but this one is super cool.

I hate below the bar depower, I'll be trying my FL, with a L Wainman Carrot Bar, although I suspect it may not be long enough to take full advantage of the kite. Will likely just buy a wider 55 cm bar, probably a switch bar, and leave the wainman guts if anything.

BTW did anyone see this, seems like a good deal, complete.
