I'm working on a different "kite / bridal" arrangement to be used in snow-kiting.
Basically taking a 21M competition-class PG , and placing it on 23M lines. the
PG already has a bridle about 15' so the over-all Line- length should be about correct.

It's Disheartening in that , i've asked perhaps a dozen different people for help
on coming up with a bar & Bridle arrangement ; several on this forum.
Most responses so far =
Others have simply ignored me. :(

Only person that actually added a bit of knowledge so far was --------- --plummet-- !

Thats a crazy project Bille. I want to see how it pans out.
dammit all this talk of paragliders gets me wanting one. but i can't afford either the time or the money... grrrrrr....

Yes as Peter says. The goal is grinning. That may involve working on moves or shredding some nice conditions. or surviving a storm session or chilling during a light wind session.

To be honest I seek the Zen of kiitng rather than constant progression. I want to reach that state of mind when i am in the "now". riding, reacting. one with kite and board. no thinking at all just enjoyement.

Then the ultimate is to have a 50 session. The saying goes in your old age on your death bed you only remember 50 days of your life. they will be the best and worst 50 experiences you have ever had. The goal is to have a session so mind blowing you will remember it entirely for the rest of your life.

Redman: Awesome. The beginning you'll see a lot of progress immediately. Good times!!

PVIT: Darkslides are fun. My biggest issue is that it torques my back weirdly. I am building my lower back up again, but for some reason it does not like that move.

dyylan: it been some time since I did much unhooked..haha. One day I'll get back into it again. I have my doubts. S bend is a fun one though. The the handlepass stuff not so much. My shoulder is fubared.

Plummet: I think our ultimate goal is the same. I am not nutty about learning new things, but try to spend a few minutes every session...funny thing though last year I have learned a lot of new things, and it helps on overall riding a lot and my overall enjoyment of sessions.

Billie: Lack of feedback is probably because most people have no idea what you are talking about on the bridle stuff. Probably not that many that flies that kite? I dunno.

I'm working on: feel the sand under your toes and the wind in your face... kiss the sun and thank the gods that you have the opportunity to enjoy nature.
That, plus better kiteloops

Tautologies: I put my 12m up today and just had a practice session on the beach. No water stuff. I didnt want to get in the water the surf was pretty big and just thought it would be too much my first time flying. I got real used to how to control the kite real quick. Its not as scary or complicated as i had imagined. I do need to learn to relax a bit in the harness though my abs and chest are burning from trying to constantly hold my self up. I was a ble to play anlittle too. I did 1 jump only about 10ft off the ground but didnt want to push it. Tomorrow is supposed to be a good wind day so if the wind is right and the surf is decent ill try standing up on my board.

I'm working on getting back to where I was at before my shoulder surgeries. I'm all so focusing on working on my switch side and bringing it up to where my strong side is.

My big problem is actually learning to do things like handle passes with both hands. I've all ways been very strong and could just muscle my passes with one hand. Now I have to do them like everyone else and pull with both arms. I'm fighting muscle memory now and that is the hard part.

In the end it will make me a better kiter though so I'm up for the challenge.

The life part I will work on too. What is a whip out?
The hooked ones I might join you in. They sound great.

The Joe: That sounds awesome. My shoulders are fubared, so anything handle pass is a no go. I hope you heal properly. Take it easy though.
