Naish mid-season catalog reveals no-strut kite!

Postby Kamikuza » Sun Mar 10, 2013 5:35 am

Noticed today that the new boards are on the webpage, along with new bindings and a new bar. Flipping through the catalog, I spotted a new kite... the Trip!

On page 19 you can see they've gone for sliders too...

Stuff looks nice

But why a 'MID-SEASON' catalogue.
Bad sales ?

what's even better is they have a new kite for $700+. even if it is an all-around kite, i think it's a step in the right direction.

having new kites priced more than double that is ridiculous. hopefully other brands will follow.

no strut is crazy cool but practically I am more exited about the 2 strut it just seems like a decent balance.

Hell yeah!!

I am convinced that more brands will take note and come out with strutless.

Naish has evolved most of their kites towards lighter kites the past few years.

The catalogue has a lot of goodies for sure.

Now I just need a reasonably priced, good performing 'split board' that breaks down to fit in a suitcase and travelling becomes a whole lot easier!

true. There is one company that does sell them, but I have no idea how they work. It should be possible though.

It is pretty insane how small these no strut and two strut kites pack up. Makes it a lot easier for sure.
