The KTA Philippines kicked off in style on Boracay Island with the winds building and the KTA Kite Kids in action as the riders arrived for the registration and warm-up day.

Round 3 of the Asian Kiteboard Championship hosted by Aqua by Yoo was officially opened at the Kasbah in the true KTA way, enjoy and stay tuned for the week

The winds settled and things kicked off nicely with a solid day of racing for both classes and pretty much most of the freestyle singles which had to be halted at the finals as the wind decided it had had enough for the day. So all to play for over the next days and lets hope the wind is kinder to us than the internet which is a shocker here, but will do our best to keep the flow going.

Day 3

Check out the good wind and a run through the single elimination ladder to the semi-finals at KTA Philippines 2013. Some solid riding from both the men and women in the freestyle before the wind dropped and racing started.

Day 4

With wind early the freestylers were expected to head out, but teasing in the 12 to 14 knot range Competition Director Stephan Hertig decided to hold off on the freestyle till the final day. This gave the Weekend Warriors and Kids who registered today the opportunity to do several races back to back before the serious racers hit the water again.
