Just to clarify some bad info I'm seeing here...
2014 and earlier NKB bars use a double front-line safety. 2015 and 2016 use a single front line safety. Similarly, the "Y" height on the quad bar moved up (closer to the kite) between the 2014 and 2015 bars, where it now remains on the 2016. We did this to make that "Y" height more similar to the "Y" height on the 5th (which moved down from 2014 to 2015 for the same reason).
I cannot speak with authority to compatibility with other brands' kites or safety systems. If you're going to mix and match I recommend you either know your systems intimately or speak to a retailer or someone else who knows them very well. And always test it before trying in real wind. Also remember that if the systems are not compatible they may work fine in light wind but have cataclysmic effects in high-wind situations.

Just for clarification, which part was the bad info? I agree, people should definitely test out a bar on another kite if it's not the same manufacturer. After having a kite a while back that did not depower on a double flag system (Not an F-One bar, but it was the bar designed for the kite I was flying), I decided I was done with double frontline flagging, so I sought out bar alternatives when I bought my Bandits.

A kite designed to fly with a double front line flagging system will function properly with a bar using single line flagging but not the other way round .

Scratch that last Q, I missed the post where somebody said 2013 and 14 North Quad flag to 1-line.

Does F-one still use double front line flag out on their 2016 kites?

If you really want a single line flagging system on your Bandits you can use the bar from the F-one Furtive... or wait till next year when the Bandit will get it's own one line flagging bar.

Thanks Dan, most informative.... for clarity could you please advise on the current Quad Bar ( I assume 16 & 17 are the same ? ) what is the height of the Y above the bar , and is this distance replicable on the settings of the click bar ? Many Thanks.
