Yep. Do don't really get a death loop. As soon as they crumple up they loose all their power. I snapped a pulley bridle the other day. Amaisingly the kite still flew. I say never stop developing/r&d but after riding a flysurfer, no way way i would ride one for waves or freestyle. I still ride with my flexi blade sometimes - interesting and respect to it.. but what an absolute piece of 5hit that is compared to todays kites.
I ride a 15m speed 3 in the naki head high +waves in occasions. Granted you wont be down the lining like a wave kite. But man do you get some insane boostage and glide off the wave lips...Sometimes too much glide! gliding straight into the next oncoming pitching face! hehehe.
