It is open source, so adding a swell won't be that difficult, as long as you have this data somewhere.

you can click on a spot which you are interested in and it shows the wind info.
But...is this the actual and then how it will be blowing from now on?

This one gives worldwide swell/period info at a glance:

But not nearly as interactive or pretty.

So what do you think the height adjustment is for hPA is a unit to measure Geo Potential Height... anyone care to take a stab at what that is? If you adjust the height to 10 hPA you certainly get to see quite a bit more wind... is 10 hPA at a lower altitude then 1000 hPA?
Is Geo Potential height and altitude even remotely comparable?

ok, thx, figured it out!
Didn't see the time changing in "Date".
Now it is clear! Love it!
I am sure the kiting private plane pilots will use this a lot to chase the wind

This is cool!
There is a NE front forecasted for Dec 24th night and Dec 25th in S. Florida, and you can see it on this map around upper Alabama (a State in the US for you folks outside the USA). I've never seen a front in this way, and I like it!

Awesome map! I'm sure this will be quite helpful. Not sure about the accuracy in real time though. Says I've got 10-15 knots in my location and theres not a fish fart. Perhaps later on in the day.

Yeah its pretty cool alright. I have discovered that it is predicting the frontal driven wind quite well. But doesn't predict seabreases at all. I guess a seabrease may not be occurring at 100m?
