if you want to have fun in light winds, get 18. 15 will be a hassle. And trust me...with the 18 you will be able to pull way more tricks...

Cheers All so far!

Believe me my best trick is staying on the board at the moment....... All help welcome, especially once a few start getting ridden and people write some unbiased and helpful reviews.

then power in the kite will help you...less movements needed!
And the first backroll will not break your ribs ;-)

Just make sure you safely launch and land the kite, keeping distance to hard objects and be aware of weather fronts.

Then you will be just fine.

Love it! That did make me laugh, maybe NKB will use it in their marketing….

Any suggestions on a (not ridiculously expensive) TT Light Wind board to pair with this baby? As a newbie I've read just about everything written but all is obviously biased for marketing! Lol

Personal experience is worth more than the manufacturers hype to me, and yes i do appreciate this kite isn't available to the masses just yet.

Cheers again all!

A few years ago we didn't have many choices for LW and ULW, today we have lots of kites to chose.
We have big kites for race competition, we have big kites for freeride in 6/8 knots wind, big kites for air style and we have big kites that are bad in all situations, like a fuse 18 that I bought last year.
Since big kites are very hard to second hand sell, my advice is to try a lot before buying and never buy without comparing with other kite brands or categories.
I love North kites, Rebel and Dice and because of that I wanted a big kite from North to replace my SP3 21.
I think many others think and act like me, and this is wrong.

True Michelks, it was in 2010, when there barely where big kites, then 2011 the came out with several big kites, thx to racing!

Flysurfer where the only continuing with big kites back then...they sold quiet some due to the lack from other companies. But there is a demand for such kites.

Reselling a big kite is maybe hard, if you don't have the right one. The 2011 Dyno 16 and 18 are loved and sell for sure. People are looking for that all over.

I never understood the Fuse 18, never worked for me, had a proto to try and it was just bad.
Luckily had enough Dyno 18s :)

But these days we have many good big kites, the industry understands there is a market. Heavy guys, light wind areas, airstylers are a good market to sell those.

Due to the 18 I have a blast on the water, like I wouldn't have with any smaller kite.

Thx to the companies of thinking of us :thumb:

Toby If you, a very talent and expert kitersurfer uses a 2011 model, something is wrong with kite evoluttion.

I would say there are good kites out there n 2014. The bigger problem is that we don't have bars from 2014 with microloops.

Many use new kites, but 2012 North bars. That is wrong! We need microloops on the bars as upgrade kit!
