Thanks to Dimitri, Helen, and the Epic crew for providing our wounded military service-members with free kite gear and swag! Here are a couple of cool pictures of our latest wounded-warrior and his new gear. The wounded warrior: Army Ranger Specialist Mike C, had previously suffered from a collapsed lung and still has shrapnel in his body from caused by a 107MM rocket exploding feet away from him during combat operations. Thanks to EPIC and other kiteboarding companies and volunteers, Mike has received free training and equipment to get him started in the active and healthy lifestyle which is kiteboarding.
Sincerely,
Carlos Poysky

I bet if you guys teamed up with the Collegiate Kiteaboarding Association you'd find another large group with the enthusiasm, equipment and time to help get these veterans on the water.
Thanks CaptainArgh! That is a great suggestion and we'll have to reach out to the Collegiate Kiteboarding Association as you suggested! Our website is up, but needs some development. Our Facebook page does see a bit more action though www.facebook.com/ws4ww.

Yeah, I've got two 2010 Cabrinha XBows in really good shape I'll donate if you're interested. I'm still stationed in Italy, but will be back in August.
