What is the purpose of the 3 bridal knots on each centerline bridal at the kite. The kite steering hookup line has 3 knots also but these are used for tuning the pitch of the kite. I dont see what purpose having a choice of 3 attachment positions has on the centerlines. The trim stap at the bar would would shorten or lengthen the centerlines so why is there a choice of 3 knot centerline hookup at the kite bridal. I have never seen this setup on any kites i have had previously

You can make the center lines shorter or longer (without using the trim strap at the bar) and the kites would fly different. The ideal set up for different wind conditions would depend on the combination you make with the front and back lines. For example if you're flying your kite on the top end of the kite the best set up for me is shorter front lines and longer back lines.
