Cabrinha Tronic...great board ..works as advertised. Ridiculously smooth in the chop, great in the surf, very slashy, and loves to jump... A also have a crazy fly shox.. Very good board , fast and good in the chop, but not as smooth as Tronic.

2nd Vote for this board which is my main ride (132 x 41), I believe the CF Shox Custom is very similar design without the carbon layup.

The Mako is also great, I use a 150 x 40 for big chop and small waves.... it rides similarly sized
to my CF so I'd endorse the comment about it needing decent wind.
132 x 41 pro here as well, though not the LTD. It is comfortable in chop without being power hungry.

My vote for Shinn lineup, personally own Supershinn, it just floats over the chop, and tried the Monk, same thing with less pop.

I still use my 06 north dragon 133x36 just for chop. it's the only one my right knie doesn't complain about after 40 minutes or so.

:thumb: Yes. Big +1 for Cabrinha Tronic. I had the 140. Live in South Florida. Totally loved it.

Get the MAKO from Ocean Rodeo. This board is great for choppy waters. You won't have the pop that you get from other boards but if you don't care about the pop then the MAKO is a great limousine board because you won't feel any chop especially if you have bad knees.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've looked at many of these boards before. How about the Axis Vanguard? Would that be an alternative? I was able to try the 2013 version, but not it any big chop. It felt quite stiff though, I've heard the 2014 is a bit softer.
