There are plenty of homes &/or kitehouses to rent along Long Bay (predominant on-shore tradewinds). Yet TCI isn't known for honkin' winds (unless its storming) resulting in you actually kiting just a day or two within a week. If that's the case, Long Bay might get a little boring for you and your travel companion(s) and you could find yourself wishing you'd have stayed in the Grace Bay area. There you will find many options and prices for accommodations as well as restaurants, shopping, and some mellow night-life. It's only a 5 minute car ride from the Grace Bay area to Long Bay.
If there's a specific condo or resort you have in mind...post it here and someone's bound to give you their opinion.
I've been visiting TCI annually for the last 12 years (between June thru October)...I always bring kite equipment but rarely have the winds to actually kite.

Just got back from a week in Turks and Caicos. We rented a Villa on Long Bay. There are many houses for rent that cater to kiteboarders...air compressors on beach to pump kites, tethers for self launch and land etc. We kited 4 out of 7 days. Had such a great time. Water is flat, blue, shallow and warm. What more could you ask for?
We are actually in the process of planning another trip for May. PM me if you need more info.

The trade winds in the Turks and Caicos are consistent, but are generally around 18-20mph, not "honking" but a smooth steady trade wind that is perfect for progression and general riding.
Kite Provo,
www.kiteprovo.com offers many lodging options right on Long Bay Beach, just go to our website to see the true beauty of this place and the lodging options.
We also offer boat led Kiting Adventures, once you experience this it will completely blow you away. There are 50+ islands in the archipelago and only a few that are inhabited. The turquoise waters there will set a new standard for anyone.
I am happy to assist anyone in the planning.
