Old thread but I'm also looking at a 2015 mitu pro and not sure if 5'8 is the right size for me.
I'm 72kg. Can ride strapless , currently have an OR Mako Duke but looking for a more traditional surfboard that will be good for smallish waves.
Is the mm pro in 5'8a good fit??

For your weight I would go with 5'6.

Just had my first session on 2018 Mitu Pro. 5'6 (78kg)
I intend to use it around 20 knots or more, it did not feel small, happy with the size.
cheers

Second session on Mitu Pro Carbon 5,8 , ( I weigh 75K ) seems faster than my 2016 non carbon Mitu. with slightly more volume under the front foot. would have tried the 5'6 but none in stock , the weight difference between the 5'6 and 5'8 is minimal, and I prefer more float for tacks, and the extra length for getting back upwind.

this is my first Mitu board (carbon) and I was very impressed with the speed and upwind ability...
