Why not another razor? I've been thinking about a 7m. Probably the same low end as other 8's?

i have found that while i love the razor in 10m, every which way it flies, the switchblade 9m has the same power and moves a little quicker, difference being the switchblade blows in unhooking

i tried a 10m nitro, and it feels like it pulls more like a 11m switchblade oddly enough

Really? Even when looping? Maybe the switchblade is bigger than advertised?

yea, supposedly cabrinha upsizes the switchblade a little, hence why its slower than other kites, but its hard to beat that low end

But, is it really low end if it's bigger? It's hard for me to believe the 9m sb is faster and has better low end than a 10m razor. Razors are quick kites with tremendous low end. Are you sure you were in the same winds when you were flying them both? Have you flown them back to back?

What type of loops?

Checkout the pivot. It has kiteloops. Not super heavy though....has great low end.

I Can recommend Ozone Catalyst 8m from 2014- .
Starts early and with a nice pull in the loop.
Very stable and easy kite makes very it comfortable even really super strong winds.

Tested the 2015 Catalyst a few weeks ago - can confirm the good lowend and great upwind, and the nice looping. When fully depowered the canopy flapped around a little bit though, but didn't seem to affect the actual flying of the kite. Definitely a nice kite that would fit the criteria you are looking for.
