My son Cameron Maramenides taking the lead from yesterday's event in the European Championship in Italy for the YOUTH OLYMPIC 2018.
The funny thing is that he never raised before until 15 days ago when he met his coach Michael Gebhardt in Cabarete DR to train for the Olympics. So this is his first event.

These are the RACER kites. But we started this project 5 years ago. And when we found out about Cameron going to the try outs for the YOUTH OLYMPICS 2018 we decided to use these prototype kites. They still need some work.
Just found out today that he is 2nd over all now but just because the 18 year old kiter Bachichet is using a foil kite. So Cameron is 2 pts behind. Plus Cameron has been racing only 21 days now and this was his first Race competition.

Yes congratulations to you both.
I thought they were the racer kites from the colour scheme...
Please dont be too proud to put Cameron on a foil kite - if thats what it takes to win

Dimitri,
Send Roger Federer a Screamer and an invitation to Dimitri Boot Camp!
Is this a qualifier for the Olympics? Where does he need to finish if so?
