You nailed it bro! I threw in the "stats" as further bait, and he still won't bite.

:shout: Mr. EZ- I'd suggest some Preparation-H over on Aisle 6 to cool that Supa-itchy burn. :D

:allbegood: And as a gesture of good faith, I'm gonna send ya some of those Tuck's medicated pads for that ride across I-4 so you can do your duty for your light wind fan club. Dig deep bro, you got this! :thumb:

Undisputed and Undefeatedly yours,
:bye: -KTB

HaHa.... Maybe you should venture over to cocoa beach.... get a core demo from 321 kiteboarding, a bunch of quarters and come visit us. Don't forget the notepad, you will definitely be schooled.

Yeah I could do that, but I need details.
How many quarters is it to attend SupaEZ's School of SupaEVASIVE Tactical Light Wind Riding?
And why just assume my van down by the river isn't on blocks, bro?????
Is there even a Starbucks nearby for live broadcasting?
What's the best performing notepad?
How do I keep my crayons from melting in the sun?
Hopefuuly we can work this out soon...losing wifi signal here....

No you let me know this first
Be honest...in those extraordinaire flat warm water spots...how many INF V2 or V3 do you see
Give me a number

Here big fat zero of them

I have seen only 2 in my lifetime...one was D.'s V3 proto
The other one was a guy on a V2 at the beach
We gave that guy an inferiority complex when me and my friends kept blowing by him w/19
He was never to be seen again

Also answer this...are you having a light day or heavy day ?

Reality vs marketing...

On the water in sub 12kts yesterday was a:

15M Ozone Chrono and Foil Board.
15M Flysurfer Speed 3 and Foil Board

as the wind picked up:

17M Cabrinha Contra and Surfboard

as the wind picked up:

12M Cabrinha and Foil board.
15M foils were now overpowered.

12M Chrono with 25M Lines or 13M LEI Core GTS with 27M Lines gets me on the water in the lightest of conditions. If you need a big kite, buy a foil board instead and your largest kite should be a minimal strut 12M-14M LEI kite or a 9M-12M foil kite. As a side note, a shout out to BRM's which seems to be purpose built for foiling.

deniska wrote: The companies might be cheating on actual sizes (or not) but it's still a very valuable information

Other vendors are offering 3 (or more) light wind sizes for a reason.. there is no way a 15m2 LW kite will pull the same as 19m2...so give us the size

What exactly "pulling like 19m" mean? Does it pull you like a freight train downwind?
WOW well said

I know of one instance where a kite was 17.8 flat sqm but was marked as a 17 sqm on wingtip
That would make such a size feel powerful for a "17" compared to a 17.2 flat sqm other kite
A company would not want to call it an 18 sqm
Rounding down is the way it is mostly done i would think....drop the decimal

Yes having 3 sizes kite with same design for LW is a clever way to give the buyer confidence
They all know what they are buying....small...medium...or large light wind kite
They all know which one will have the power they are looking for where and how they ride
Each kite will have 1 knot low end difference over the other
Each kite will have 2 knot high end difference over the other

Yep...we all heard the term pulls like a freight train downwind
Now we all get it...............that why it's called a machine !

Well bro, I think I'm starting to see the light, so thanks for that.
I spent all day researching my entire 843 gig database of session logs, and hate to admit that I didn't accurately record what brand, size, or version everyone else was riding.
That's why I'm SupaStoked to be taking it to the next level at Supa's LW Tactical Training School, homey! :thumb:
Yep, I went on Amazon today and ordered 4 digital windmeters, some 3-ring binders, a scientific calculator, a protractor, and a neoprene pocket protector. (lemmie know if I got it all bro)

And you KNOW I'm stalking that UPS guy like a sub-7 puff, my breEZy. :cool2:

See you guys at Starbucks later?
