I think the Apollo is a new car from VW? If I had flown such a thing as unlikely as that might be, I might have been totally blown away. For now though, like Sargent Schultz, "I know nothing!" Time will tell.

LOL! Rick, you may want to let us know why, in the unlikely event of have dreamt of having flown this kite, you might be so stoked.
On a separate note, you might have unlikely been able to compare the Apollo against any foil kite?
Thanks.

I wish I could say more. The good news is the rollout is only in a few weeks and well worth the wait in my opinion.

This is from today: Baltic, around 20kts, swell upto 2m, a lot of chop.
I was on Apollo 7m and Moses HP560 Silente (very freeride foil).
45 degrees upwind at rather choppy waters looks very good for me
I will compare it with a Ozone foil kite and the very same hydrofoils soon.

Coolio. I think this thing will make for an awesome practice quiver for racers to keep their foil kites crispy. That right now is the biggest problem I'm trying to address, beating up expensive race kites during practice/freeride sessions.

I had my first session today using the Apollo 10m. Riding the Shinn Shinnster /Zeeko Blue Aluminum. Wind range 12-18kts. The kite was very impressive. More to come.

I forgot to add about jumping on 7m: it flies higher and longer than Velocity. How much? Hard to say but everyone should feel the new levels. Woo fanatics might have a good machine for breaking their records.
7 & 10m Apollo - great kites and I feel happy - not a $ wasted.
14m - just two hours on the water - still not enough to state the same. Don't know if they work better than Velocity in ultra light winds.
Good thing is that I can compare it with Velocity 2015.

Marek, have you tried the Apollo on short lines (15-18m) ?
Latest foil kites work best on short lines. Does the Apollo follow this trend?
Thanks

Negative. I've not tried that option.
Instead I used Apollo 14m on 33m long lines in sub 6kts winds.
