Hi everyone,
we are planing a surf trip (wave kitesurfing) in november.
can anyone please give us some info about the conditions in november? names of spots and any accommodations (we are 2-4 people), looking to rent a villa and if possible front beach infront of a good spot to surf.
how is night life there?
we surfers (no kite), any info will be appreciated as well.
thanx
Z

Winds have been different this year - I don't know the science of it but it hasn't been normal. Add to the fact that November is right at the tail end of the "less windy" season to my understanding and you might have a few good days. But the good news is villas will be cheap
Never been disappointed here (I'm in Cabarete now for 2 weeks) - beautiful, great restaurants, fun nightlife (so I hear, not my scene)... Add that to a great spot for wind sports and surfing and you've got yourself a vacation.

Oh villas - If you want to be close to the more nightlife oriented action - something like Villa Taina or Velaro might interest you for proximity, can also find full villas at Cabarete East I believe. I prefer down the beach a ways, condos at Harmony, Ocean Dream or Ocean one are close enough but also far enough away when you want to be. Or go all the way down to kite beach - further from the nightlife but lots of good people and great times to be had.
Don't stay down at Encuentro if you want a lot of evening activity... Otherwise, everything else is fairly accessible.

Thank you
Any info on best spots where you can rent a villa directly on the wave spot?
Wouldn't mind if it would be only for surfing in morning and then to drive to a kitespot when wind rise
Tnx

waves can be found in Encuentro beach. But not many stay in the area...they stay in Cabarete and then drive to the beach.
Winds in November should not be good...don't expect too much.
