I hope the bar lives up to all the pent -up anticipation caused by the delays, not fair but the expectation level has probably risen to way above what it should be. Lots of hype and chatter is great publicity so long as it delivers.
The North bar was met with much negative skepticism but have you noticed how now only good reports are surfacing, it's because the product by the accounts I've seen works really well. Hope the Stick Shift has a similar reception.

Fair comment Stenner, certainly it was not our intention to take this long but we are very excited to start shipping and are confident that the design will prove to be popular. The riders we have been testing and refining the bar's design with are all adamant that they won't go back to traditional trim systems, both for the convenience of always having the trim adjustment always within reach and in the same spot and for the fact that by moving the trim to the bar end we open up a massive sheeting range on the bar.
Where are you based? Can I help get you organized with a demo of the new bar?

That's awesome OR, is the plan to still offer a higher V and later low V? The higher V version comes out first, correct? Will the higher V be good with kites that use low V? Sorry for all the V talk.

Absolutely, they will have an in store floor model / display and an on water demo bar hopefully by end of week this week. At the latest, early next week...

Currently, the Stick Shift has a massive sheeting range but I'd call it a medium V, not a high V... the split is about 1.5m / 5' away from you so you could - in theory - do a quick move to pull a front line when landing but it's not a true low V. Our rationale was that the benefits of such a clean front line set-up demanded that the bar offer great sheeting range, especially when combined with our new single hand operable sliding 'G-Stop' stopper, letting you set the sheeting range to whatever you wish.
Down the road, we expect that the Stick Shift will herald a shift towards back line trim bars in general and, as such, we absolutely anticipate releasing multiple models to cater to different riding styles and a low V model would be in the cards...

The current Control Bar is releasing on one front line and I'm pretty sure the Stick shift will too

When you say V is 1.5M away do you mean from the chicken loop or from the top of the trim?

I hope I don't sound like a jerk when I point out -->
this bar's trim control is the Sidewinder knob on the bar's end <-- there are no other obstructions on the center lines. 1.5m from top of QR rotor head to V.
Here's a pic showing the Sidewinder trim control knob:
And another that shows the sliding G-Stop:
